Dry ice blasting is eco-friendly as it uses solid CO2 pellets that sublimate into gas, leaving no secondary waste behind.

What is dry ice?

Dry ice is a solid state of carbon dioxide CO2 with a temperature of -79 C. Carbon dioxide is found in gaseous form in nature. It is non-toxic and odorless.

What happens when it hits the surface?

It sublimates (changes from a solid to a gaseous state) and returns to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide (CO2). CO2 is an element of natural origin, representing less than 0.04% of our atmosphere.
